An excellent alumina crucible has good thermal conductivity, high mechanical strength, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, scouring resistance, chemical stability, and thermal shock resistance.

  1. High-temperature resistance.

The crucible can be used at temperatures up to 1750℃.

  1. Reusable.

After the test is finished, the used crucible can be washed with water or washed with 10% hydrochloric acid and hot dried (e.g. with a muffle furnace) and can be used repeatedly.

  1. Good thermal conductivity.

The heat transfer between sample trays or crucibles is fast and the temperature distribution is uniform. Generally, a good enough synchronous DSC or synchronous DTA signal can be obtained.

  1. Stable structure and performance.

The crucible for thermal analysis is made of high purity alumina (>99%), which is sintered at high temperature to form a dense and uniform microscopic crystalline structure to ensure no peaks during the test.
